(Semi) Wordless Wednesday

Dispatch all your news outlets, someone in L.A. farted and caused a .00001 earthquake! Meanwhile, Nashville is UNDER water, lives lost, cars floating away, pets displaced, friends with no home, no clothes, nothing. Nashville is NOW in a black out with no power and many surrounding counties have to boil their water. ...but I think Lindsay Lo forgot her panties again and Tiger screwed someone else....hurry, call GMA! Thankfully, we were spared, my friends were not so lucky. Some of these are of downtown Nashville and some are three miles from my house.

Oh my God. How are you guys doing? How are people eating/getting drinking water?

The photos are unbelievable and so scary. I am disgusted at the media as well -- when news that really matters happen, where are they? They will be there for a day or so and then it's off to celeb sightings at Target again.

My first thought was that can't be real! There is nothing of this on the news!!!

Hope your friends and town get help real soon.

Wow. I'd seen video footage the other day, but seeing photos of people standing in the water is different, brings it more home. Let's hope that FEMA doesn't come and "help" like they helped New Orleans.

Glad you are OK! We've had our share of flooding here, and I too am blessed.

WOW!! Having lived there, I have a good visual..

The important question.... was the stadium spared?

Seriously, hope you and all your friends dodged the bullet.

Jesus. What a mess. I am so sorry for all of you. Thank God you guys are ok.

I totally agree with your analysis of our "news" reporting. Totally f-ing ridiculous shit, all the time, but real news takes a backseat.

If you need anyone to babysit Gunnar and his gorgeous big Bro, you know, while the flooding is going on or for, like, ever, didn't hesitate to call :)

I am just saying

*wink*

Take care of yourselves.

Someday was bitching about our weather yesterday. Sunny and 45*. Complaining about how cold it was. I told them they should move to Tennessee. They shut up.

It's so unbelievable.

Oh my gosh, I never imagined it was like that. My local channels have had nothing like this. The NPR station covers it but my visual was way off.
Prayers for your friends and you guys are safe and dry.

Glad you guys are okay. It is an absolute mess. It has been on our local new here in the Wash DC area, but coverage has been spotty. I had been looking for coverage being TN is my second home and I have friends in Nashville.

Yikes! Glad you are OK!

Is it insensitive to ask if Knoxville is flooeded too or we have anything to worry about with regards to the race course?

Holy shit! sorry about language! that is terrible! I hope your friends come through this OK! I did not realize how badly it was hit. We are all so lucky to live the way we do when people are hit with this kind of stuff!

Typical of this country to tell us only what they want to. Glad to hear you're dry!
I seen pics of Grand Ole Opry under water-that could be devistating to our country music past-even though I'm not a big fan of country, it's stll a big part of America.
