Who’s YOUR DADDY?!

So, sorry, it’s a Lifethings kind of post… Tri peeps looking for killer tips and even better stories may need to tune in another day.

#1 I’m sorry for my lack of posts and serious lack of comments.

#2 I am sleep deprived.

#3 I present to you…Gunnar and Magnus, of course, in Who’s your Daddy!?

Magnus is like a new poppa. Loves the little guy but isn’t afraid to kick his ass when he wants to nip at his ding ding like it’s a nipple. Yeah, Gunnar got the picture in a hurry.

I know I’m biased but seriously, how cute is this?

IMG_0919

IMG_0925My schedule is all kinds of jacked up and I barely know my name. The little guy is little and needs to go out every two hours. Oh yes, EVERY…TWO…HOURS. Last nite I saw, 1:30, 3:30 and got up at 5:30. I’m a lite sleeper and he cries when he’s gotta pee. Scoop him up, stumble down some steps, and hit the grass with flashlite in hand. I have to ensure he goes, ya know.

Actually, the other nite, I forgot to put my glasses on. I heard him cry, grabbed jacket, grabbed puppy, grabbed flashlite and went outside. I don’t know what the hell happened – I’m blind as hell but I think he paused to squirt.

I can NOT wait for 4 hours at a stretch. C’mon bladder size, please grow quickly!

In workout news…

Last week was my week to dial IT up – two swims, four bikes, four runs and a couple of strength sessions. Scheduling was a challenge but I’ve learned not to look TOO far ahead. One thing at a time, one week at a time. We had a GREAT early morning long run on Wednesday where we wet our pants when we saw a herd of eyeballs looking at us. Yes, I know, I know, logic did kick in, just some deer. I was really hoping for a wild dingo or something but nothing exciting.

At Masters a couple of people said – you’ve lost weight. Now, my weight hasn’t changed in years +/- 5lbs on vs. off season. Maybe they haven’t seen me in that long or maybe my junk just moved around, who knows, but I’ll take that ANY day of the week.

I solemnly promise to catch up with all y’all this weekend! Pinky swear.

Or maybe you are muscular and buff with all the training! Be positive girl!

Someone says "hey you look great did you lose weight?" you don't snarl at them and say they are full of crap!

Oh my gosh, how cute!!! I don't care if you write about your training, just post more pics of Gunnar and Magnus and I'm dandy fine for this week!!!

Hey, losing weight is good! Right?
And cranking up training with a new puppy, you rock!

Go on just your time with them.

Those are the cutest pictures EVER! I hope Gunnar starts sleeping through the night soon. We got more sleep with three newborn babies than we did with one 8 week old puppy. Ha!

Nice job on all those workouts. You truly amaze me with all you can squeeze into a week.

I love him. If you need a puppy sitter - just let me know! But it's great that you are getting him out there and training him - nothing pisses me off more then people who do not potty train their puppies. "Um, your dog just crapped on my floor" - and the freaking dog in a year old. Ugh.

Congrats on the great training! And nothing sounds better then a compliment from someone who sees you in a suit! whoohoo!!

Adorable! I got to do that every two hour crap with Jones for his first two years. I don't envy you. At least I didn't have to go outside LOL.

Great job getting all the workouts in and getting buff. My body is busy putting on its marathon pudge layer.

ADORABLE!
Lack of sleep is no fun but it'll be so worth it when gunner is the best trained dog ever thanks to you.

I am not a really a dog person, BUT those pics are cute as hell!
Magnus' "ding-ding" is getting some action he's not felt in a long time!!

I too have ventured away from posting anything lately, I just don't have the energy to type after swinging that cannonball from hell all day long!

My training is so different from anyone else these days (lack of running, biking and swimming), but that will only last for a short time-then it's back to "tri" training! KB's are my first love and the instructor certification comes first!!

Hang in there, the puppy will grow up before you know it! Just like kids-you blink and next you know they're driving your lazy ass to work!

Aren't dogs cute??
Nice thing is, they train quicker than kids, so smile Momma...

I love the picture of the two boys all snuggled together. So adorable!! Finlay woke me up on Monday morning at 2 am to go pee and it threw me off all day. I was a wreck in my four meetings that day. And that was just for one outing. Hang in there, he'll be sleeping through the night soon!

What a cutie! I love the picture of them both cuddling!

Those are two of the cutest doggie pics I've seen in a while!!

I am the same way too, +- 5# depending on time of year and month. But a compliment is always welcome. Maybe all those extra trips downstairs in the middle of the night are helping ;-)

Teh puppy is definitely a cutie. I especially like the pic of him snuggling with the older dog.

You are my "wake up at the ass crack of dawn" inspiration. That right there would make me drop a few pounds!

Oh you know that you are HAWT!

That Gunnar is absolutely adorable! Magnus looks so happy to have a buddy. I am now having puppy wants. My Sampson would probably love to have a puppy around.

I would never get anything done with a SUPER CUTE new puppy around!!!!!! OMG SOOOOOOOOOOOO freakin' cute.

I think I should try some weeks with 2 swims (since I'm the most comfortable with the swim), 4 runs and 4 bikes. Thanks for the unintentional tip.

Aw! Yay Magnus for being a great daddy to Gunnar!

Losing weight, or weight shifting from noticeable areas is always good!

Aka Alice said...

Yeah...where is his daddy for those night time walks?

Ditto on what Carly said...at least with the newborn babies, all I had to do was roll over and lift my shirt for the nighttime feedings.

Oh...TMI?

No apology needed. I've been in la-la land (recovery) myself and for some reason you aren't showing up on my dashboard. I've been wondering about you so I had to actually go directly to your blog to see your recent posts.
SO GLAD I DID!! That puppy is too stinkin' cute. And Magnus? What a sweetheart. Boomer HATES puppies. He would constantly be growling at the puppy.
Congratulations on your new baby. ;)
