Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, martini in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO what a ride!"

Thanks for this! :) My partner Mike, was on a UN mission during the Bosnian/Serbian debacle...My Dad also served in the airforce for 33 years.
The assistant director at Teh 'Bride's library served in the army years and years ago and every Veterans Day Teh 'B. thanks him for his service.
And every year he says, "Thank you. You're the only one remembers."
