Full report will come but let me tell you one thing...ok, maybe ten, you know me...
Do NOT hike up a freakin mountain in old running shoes with no tread. I didn't totally bust my ass, much, but I had to crab walk it down on my arse. Lovely. I think I'm in the pink in the background...falling over.

I have been on a mountain bike twice, yep twice and even some G Rated single track. See, the last time I was here, they took me on some R Rated single track for my first ride EVER on a mountain bike. I cried, I fell, I cried some more, I bled - who the hell puts a tree in the middle of the road for crying out loud?!?! To get me back on a mountain bike is a feat in itself. I'm sticking to G-PG Rated - fire roads, double track and shit that doesn't drop off a sheer cliff for Pete's sake.

When you're on vacation, time does not matter. Especially when it comes to drinkin! That's our morning cup of joe ....

Thank GAWD I'm in decent shape or the altitude might have just killed me. Don't get me wrong, it's hard and I'm not moving as fast as I should BUT I can't imagine if I was out a shape or a huge fat ass. OH, there's another thing, NO fat people here. I think CO is one of the most in shape/skinniest in the country if I'm not mistaken.
Cheers to you and I'll be catching up soon.

I love your addition to coffee. It goes good in hot chocolate too. Nice to see that you're having "fun". Carry on.
Please, please don't avoid running single track trails just because of my little mishap. Go enjoy! Just be careful, that's all. ;)
Hmmm, do you think if one moves to CO that one would lose some weight??? (Don't worry, I'm not talking about you - but yours truly!)
Oh, had a little snippet of Jack Daniels tonight and thought of you my friend. Must be so awesome living in the state that creates the sweet nectar of the gods...
Now get out there and attack the single track! It's great!
Looks nice, I could use a little "R-n-R"
Holy crap! What the hell kind of terrain is that?
You know, most people sleep in and sunbathe on vacation not risk their freaking life climbing collapsed buildings or whatever the hell that stuff is.
souds like a fun time!!!
I have been there twice with two wives. The second one worked out a little better than the first one....
Take one of the trails by car (or jeep) through one of the passes. Lot's of fun.
From the look of that Bailey's...you are having a great vacation so far. Don't kill yourself while you're in CO!
I think your right the CO being the fittest/thinnest state. I think your onto something with the altutude. I never put them together.
Sounds like your having fun. I hope at least everybody got a good laugh for the day watching you bust your ass. Comic relief?
BOOOOO on the mtb trails. At leat the trees aren't coming at you at 40-50 miles an hour distracted by their phone conversation.
mtb is not my thing either. used to enjoy it when i lived in the mountains, but now i'll take the road every time. have fun out there!
Oh man! Mountain biking scares the crap out of me. More power to ya for attempting to do it.
Sounds like you're off to a great vacation--the pictures are lovely!
Th green looks wonderful - with the heat down in the south everything is brown and yellow!
MTB is not for the faint of heart. Esp when you ride with the crazy people,
Did you have the Baileys & Coffee and THEN went for the MB ride? Geez girl...no wonder you fell...LOL..
Have a great time (yeah, you're doin' that already!)
OMGosh, l.o.v.e. CB! Sounds like you are having a great time, can't wait to read the full report. What was the first Mt. Bike ride you went on last year? Ugh, there are some tough ones there. My fav. easy one is Snoddgrass (or something like that).
Have a great time!
LOL... You said butte... If I started putting liquor in my coffee, there would be no starting me :-)
yeah...everyone is skinny and the view (or views) are out of this world....
does starbucks serve that kinda coffee??? haha
if they did no one would get to work
Oooohh the pics look beautiful!
Especially that last one ;)
gorgeous! (the baileys i mean ;) just kidding, looks like an amazing time! be careful!!!!!
keep enjoying your time out there, looks like a blast! Love the pics, and the Bailey's :D
Yes, I noticed that too about no fat people in Colorado the times I've been there. In fact, I felt fat trying to gasp for air in that altitude. Sounds like you're having fun. Beautiful photos!!
Crab walking on yer @$$! Hahahahaha! So that's how you get a crested butt!
Great pictures !!
Ummm looks absolutely awesome there. I would have loved to have driven all the way down there to have that cup of coffee with you! But I feel ya with the mtn bike. NO THANKS, but I do like the G rated trails like you. Enjoy the rest of your trip!!!
One place I have to go yet!
Our vacation morning breakfast's sound the same! Hope it was fun!
