Farrah...

Far be it from me to stay away from a topic such as Michael Jackson. I think I have ranted enough already so all I have to say is....

Farrah Fawcett died on Thursday, June 25 from cancer...in case you haven't heard.

I can NOT believe his death is monopolizing the airwaves. Someone equated it to the death of Elvis and I almost puked on my shoes. I'm really trying to shut up on this one, really, trrrrying.

Just packing a car and cleaning a bike. Oh, and to everyone who says - you must be a bad ass to race in a Speedo. Puhleeze, bad ass, YES, of course I am a bad ass - but NOT in that racing kinda way, you just got to show up and own it...even if you got a little wiggle in your jiggle. Seriously, if you are not caught up on it (your butt, your boobs, whatever), other people won't be either. It's an all woman's race for crying out loud. Be free and let your wiggle, jiggle a little. If guys ONLY like bony broads, most of us would NOT me married.

I'll keep all y'all posted on my travels from Atlanta.

My oldest came into the room to tell my MJ had died, and I was like, "So?"... *YAWN*

I like that wigglin and jigglin. I'm going to have my camcorder and camera this weekend to capture it.

You mean "Hotlanta" right?

I love all your jiggles and wiggles.....

I got this message on FB last night..."Shans what the F MJ hasn't done shit in 20 years..."

I love MJ but the coverage is going to kill my love for him. We're gonna hear about it until the funeral.

I almost puked while watching the news this morning. Isn't there anything else going on in the world today? I mean - MJ was awesome and all. BUT HE WAS FREAKING WEIRD. Hello? Neverland Ranch? His freakish tranformation from a good looking african american to a crazy looking kind of white guy? Child molestation charges? C.R.A.Z.Y.

I wore my hair really big and curley today for Farrah. :)

I'm pondering the thought of just racing in my pink YIKES suit this weekend...hmmm.....

SEE YOU TOMORROW!

Ok i am being serious on this one...I think our society's infatuation and obession of celebrities is a sign of much deeper problems....but I have to say I still had the same crush on Farrah as I had at 6 years old.

Gotta be a dissenter on this one. The man had his demons, but boy could he entertain (in my viewpoint, of course. Nothing like Charlie Daniels, though, right?). I hate to say it, but we bought 3 of his CDs (Jackson not Daniels) online last night.

Good luck on the race! I've done races in my suit before. Its not that bad, but I always wonder how bad I look!

My take on it is that thinking your butt is too big is part of the definition of being a woman. Even if it isn't. You'll have a great race, jiggle and all!

Photos, which blogger was talking about taking pics? Oops, did I say that out loud?

Be safe heading to atlanta! and good luck at the race. I live your jiggles and wiggles too. Ya gotta be comfortable in your own skin to own yourself. very cool.

i now have the song 'bootylicious' going through my head... it's actually one of my theme songs. that and 'baby got back'.

SHAKE IT YOU WON'T BREAK IT!!! tee hee.

am also disappointed at the enourmous coverage of MJ and therefore lack of for Farrah. All deaths are sad, and none is more important than another.

have a great time this weekend (like there is any doubt you wouldn't!!). GOOOOOOOOOO MISSY GOOOOOOOOO!

I don't have any recollection of FF since I never watched Charlie's Angels. After the initial 5 minutes of shock of MJ, I'm now disappointed that he got more death coverage than some of our presidents. Pathetic.

GOOD LUCK!!!

Farrah was an amazing icon from the 70's, the hair alone!

While I'm not "obsessing" about MJ I do like his music =).

It would not a good week for celebrity's, Farrah, MJ and Ed McMan (sp?) all in one week.

Good luck this weekend!!!!!

I am with you on MJ....I had the same rant this morning.

Very good points. I used to hate it when my butt/hips would jiggle when I ran. Um, hello? It's what makes us women, for Pete's sake!

Rock it this weekend girlie. ;)

Last night my mom actually said that she was sad that MJ had stolen all the news coverage away from her death.

Safe travels to Atlanta and have a great race!!

I cannot begin to tell you how much time I spent trying to get a Farrah flip going when I was in middle school (yes, I am THAT old).

I NEVER, EVER, tried to look like MJ.

I find it fascinating that I learned about his death from my 13 year old daughter who'd received a text from a friend...which I then corroborated via Twitter.

Between MJ (90%) and FF (9.9%) poor old Ed McMahon really lost out in the coverage dept. this week.

Good luck at the race!

why does the 5K scare you? I am sick of MJ personally. I loved him before the kid stuff. Good luck!
